VHM has developed and delivered towed gun trainers for indoor and outdoor usage. VHM has delivered HCT's for towed guns such as the M198 and the FH2000. Indoor simulators make use of both original and non-original howitzer components. The systems are installed in a fixed indoor formation.

In the outdoor version, the original parts are replaced by simulator parts or equipped with sensors. Outdoor simulators are mobile and can be relocated in the training area. This provides extra opportunities for training such as systems’ deployment, systems’ break down next to “conventional” features like charging and aiming.
