To make sure that artillery training can be performed as realistic as possible, VHM has developed special training ammunition for its simulators. The shells look similar to “ live ammo” and have the same weight, but do not contain explosives.

The simulated ammunition is provided with transponders which record the type and setting of the loaded piece of ammunition. This registration takes place at the charging moment and the information can be used to enhance the reality of training.
